Here at Commissions we paint your portraits to order, simply send us a digital image of the subject matter (Image must be at least 500px by 500px and the higher the quality the better) and we will produce it on canvas/high quality sterched paper.
Before we start the work, we will take 50% of the relevent price (shown below).
Example Timeline (Painting not for sale):
Once the painting is completed we will send you a timeline of 10 images showing the work in progress and a high quality still of the finished portrait. Once you are completely satisfyed we will take the full payment and send you the painting by RoyalMail Special Delivery.

Acrylic paint gives a nice smooth look to the painting, the process is alot quicker where as an oil painting takes alot longer to produce as the layers of paint take a lot longer to dry at each stage, but the oils can bring alot more texture to the finished painting.

After portraits have been finished and accepted we can frame the work on high quality wooden frames, prices are as follows:
Please note that for oil paintings framing is not recommended for 6 months after the item is finished (this is to allow the oil to fully dry and will preserve the life of the painting).

Time Scale
Turn-around time varies depending on the medium used and the canvas size. Times shown below and taken from when we receive your deposit to when the painting is completed. Once the payment is made, please allow a further 3-5 days for delivery of the item.
